Most of the Limestone influenced stream in SE PA have the small winter stone flies, I can't think of any reason why Valley wouldn't have them.
Sounds like you hit the stream at the right time.

I met Chris this week. I've been fishing valley creek a lot and would like to find some new areas upstream on valley above little valley, I guess toward Valley Creek Park.

Can anyone please share a pull off and local for some action. PM is good. Thanks!

I hit valley for a few hours this afternoon and saw a surprising amount of surface action in a few spots. I ended up catching 3 on #22 black zebra midge dead drifted past the rising fish with no splitshot. Although I'm not a fan of fishing egg patterns I drifted a sucker spawn thru a deep hole at the end of the day and caught 2 more in a couple minutes.
