Valley Creek, Chester County 7/5/15

Went out on Sunday and the weather was beautiful and sunny air temperature was about 75 and water temperature was 59. I fished from 8:00 AM until noon and caught five and lost two, they ranged from anywhere between 6”-9”. I had good luck on the zebra midge size 20 and a small pheasant tail (no beadhead).

Wow that's great day. I have to get back over there. What size leader and tippet were you using?

I use a long 10-12' leader because my fly line spooks the fish easily in Valley and 6x tippet.
