Decided to fish Valley Creek yesterday after hearing about a fish kill earlier this year. I am happy to report that there were tons of trout eager to take my dry fly. I fished from 4pm to 7pm in the Valley Forge National Park area, mostly prospecting for rising fish. Caught 8 or 9 mostly smallish wild browns, and missed many others. The fish kill did not seem to impact this section of the creek. If anyone has more detailed information about the fish kill, I would love to know more.

I would say that the National Park area fishes the same way it did prior to the fish kill that originated at Little Valley. Plenty of rising fish. There is a forum in the general or fishing location forum category regarding the spill.
Even two days after the fish kill I caught 10 fish on dries. Nice report!
