Fished the Valley Forge National Park area for the first time; water was low and clear. Warm and cloudy. Incredible the number of fish, most small and even some fry. This must be a thriving stream...
Got there around 4PM - there were some BWO in the air, later some Grannoms and all the time midges. The fish were mostly focused on the last.
Got fish from under 7 to over 12 inch, nice colored wild browns, on small Comparadun BWO and CDC Caddis.
Between the highway and the strollers - not a very remote place, not sure I would enjoy fishing there often, but hey, that's the big city.
