I fished past the covered bridge for the last hour of the day after the break in the rain. Was in the 50s and overcast. Water was a little high and faster for valley but definitely fishable. I was nymphing a midge and pheasant tail both size 18. Had one bite but no fish to hand and caught a couple trees while working off the rust.
Saw a bunch feeding under a root ball over hanging the bank but I guess it wasn't what I was showing and light was fading to quickly to keep tying new flies on.
Was nice to see fish in that section, this was my first time back since the spill earlier this year.
