Valley Creek Chester County 10/7/12

Special Thanks to Volksnurse!!! I fished a spot he sent me to and managed my first VC trout! My wife was able to catch a few chubs on the fly, but only the one trout. All fish ate a Green Weenie We fished from 7:30-11:00. Did see a few fish feeding both underwater and a couple rises until the rain started but in all a great morning spent with the wife. Again Thank You Volksnurse

That's great! Congrats. Wild trout are really the best and that stream has a lot of growing pains before you start feeling relatively comfortable. Good job.
I spent my early am catching stockers including an 18 inch slob on a PT nymph. Rainbow..
I'm looking forward to getting back to those wild fish! Thx for posting.
