Didn't get there until around 12:30pm and it was not an original idea. Cars parked everywhere but I found some water to myself. Water was still up a bit but crystal clear. Didn't take a temp but I'd guess high 50's. Got fish on dry's (ants, griffith's gnat and hopper, although the hopper was supposed to be an indicator for the bead head zebra) and Woolly Buggers. Probably had between 10 and 15 fish on landed maybe 6 or 7. Had one fish break off my Woolly Bugger on the second pull after the strike. Didn't see him but he had to be nice. See attached pics of a few of today's fun. I'm exploring more and more of this stream and continue to be fascinated by the incredible water. Off to California on business tomorrow so keep posting it gives me something to read back at the hotel. Tight lines guys!

Nice job.

I fished in saturday morning for a few hours. Had a lot of aggressive strikes from buggers, but mostly misses. Pretty fun to fish buggers when its super clear, watching the chase can be pretty exhilarating even if they ultimately miss.

I was out on Valley Saturday too, with JayL and one of his buddy's. From 10 a.m. till 2 or so. Might have even seen ya!

I think I ended up with 7 landed, but 4 of those were dinks in the truest sense of the word. The other 3 weren't dinks but not exactly "impressive" either. Really, other than one spot, we did not see a rise all day.

pcray1231,

I was gone by 10 I think, got down there around 7 and fished the park. I didnt see a rise either, all I could get to work were buggers. Beautiful morning though.

Good thing archery season is here... sounds like Valley was maxed out with fisherman.
