Water temp was around 43. And surprisingly I didnt see anybody there... Interesting cause everything I have been told is that its a zoo up there, Maybe by some people cutting out trees. I was able to catch some fish on a hook tied with some string and some feathers... Their where sporadic risers for what looked like sz 28-30 black midges. Its good to see the fish spreading out as the water is warming up. And since people have their panties in a bunch, If people would like more information on this stream feel free to pm me.

Despite all the trouble that stream has caused around here...it has some really pretty fish in it. Nice one Mush.

I got a nice little guy from under some darker areas, the colors where magnificent. I sat there just staring at it, admiring the fish.

I think valley has some one the nicest looking fish in the state.

They do, but the little off the map brookie streams have me for the colors of the fish. I am kinda bias towards them tho.

I was there yesterday too, from about 1-4 PM. Water was cold and I only saw a few other anglers upstream of the iron bridge. Yes, those fish are darn pretty. I was admiring them as well- those beautiful red spots. PM me too if you want some more info- or you can figure it out for yourself. Half the fun is solving the puzzle.

Waters not that bad! when you've been fishing in "winter" conditions. I find in the areas that dont get as much sun the fish are darker. Which I think is awesome one fish may be a lighter shade, while some fish are a very dark vibrant color.

I wish I have been fishing in winter conditions this year. First time out. Family obligations and a health issue for my wife kept me off the water. Things look to be improving so I cut work a little short yesterday. Today turned nicer but not sure if last night's rain made it high and discolored. I have learned to really appreciate that crick.

Went today, caught 4(fair size) all on a zebra midge. A few were hitting the surface.

Glad you made it on here Frank. Post those photos. The larger ones you caught were almost flourescent. Caught 4 also on an 16 BHHE, only brought 2 to hand.

I was out out there Friday as well, good day on the water, I did see a few others, not as many as a sunny day.

Wound up catching 4 before my finger tips were going numb, mostly on small midge size #22.

This on as soon as i started the day, it's how I knew it was going to be a good day..

Caught 2 on Saturday the 3rd below the park on a 20 zebra

No I did not, I got one from an eagles fan. Who seemed more interested in catching a fish then being polite.

One from last week. Probably the nicest fish I've taken at Valley this year.

You can see the size 24 midge it took its his mouth.
