Valley Creek, Chester Co, 12/23/2010

Fished a small section of Valley Creek in Valley Forge National Park from 1:30-3PM. Witnessed a few fish rising in slower sections of water. Managed two brown trout, 8" and 10", on a size 20 zebra midge and size 14 blood worm fished in tandmen underneath an indicator. It was cold and windy which made getting a good drift challenging at times.

I made a small edit to your post to reflect the county in which you fished as we ask for the title in Stream Reports to include stream, county, and date. This helps with search mode and helps differentiate streams since, obviously, there are a lot of streams across the state with the same name.

I made a quick stop, without time to fish, to see how cold valley was yesterday. 40F, and the air was colder than that. You did a good job to catch brown trout in such cold water!
