Got out for a few hours this morning on VC , low water with a brisk flow of anglers and unfortunately sun . True and proper skunk

REVCAP
- lost one 5 dollar streamer to a log fish in the first 30 casts

- got high holed by another lady in the first 20 min ... even though I was there first ...

- had 6 great looking does come in and hang out with me for about 30 min eating something about 15 yards away under an unoccupied dear stand

- had an absolute blast of time laying out 30 footers with a BWO to imaginary rising fish on lvc as I worked my way out . ( only snagged 12 trees) 👍

6/10 still beats watching the news and was nice weather .

Yeah, other than one time immediately, and I mean immediately after a thunderstorm, those sound like my Valley experiences. Assume the snakes that fall out the trees are in brumation for the Winter.

Even if you think you are first, you probably aren't. Unfortunately with Valley being so close to Philly it gets a lot of pressure, though I'd argue that its been much more tame than it was a few years back. For as many crowded days, I have had days where I don't see a soul.

Little Valley can be solid when water is up, otherwise they spook easily. Low water can be difficult on Valley, though rewarding. My biggest VC trout (22"~) was on a low water day, go figure.

Sun and low water is a bad combo, on any stream.

Typically I would agree with you but when I'm standing at the water and I watch you walk the trail threw the woods 15o + yards to get to me and then you don't ask if I moving up or down stream , and you walk down 2o yards of frog water and post up in the deep bend I came to fish ,,, I'm sorry that's just not curious . It's a busy stream I get it , I didn't play leap frog or have words , sometimes it's just cathartic to have a lil ***** to the board . No biggie

I hear ya, I think some people just don't understand proper fishing etiquette - I was fishing down by the covered bridge a few years ago and I had a guy quite literally come and fish the same pool as me. Or my other favorite was a guy walked down a riffle I was fishing.

Unfortunately when someone does that, it can really put a damper on the day.
