Valley Creek 6/10/2007

Got to Valley Creek today at 1:30. Fished until 3:30. Fished above the metal bridge. Caught 2, one on an elk hair caddis size 20 and one on a caddis emerger. I must have missed 6 or 7 other fish on top. Had two nice ones that I also long released that were in the 10" range. It was a great day with overcast skies and 70 degrees. Unfortunately I had to head out or I could have stayed all day.

I picked up the evening shift, from about 6 to 7:30 and got 5 and missed a few, all on scuds. Got two that were around 13", the others were about the average size.

I forgot to add the best part... I saw a fox pup on the side of route 23. As much as I loved the fishing I'll probably remember the fox more.
