Fished Valley for the first time ever today, up from covered bridge from about 5:00 - 7:30. Picked up one 8" brownie on caddis emerger and rolled a couple more. A few caddis and craneflies were coming off, but not a lot of surface activity. Nice night to be on the stream nonetheless. Didn't see anyone else fishing, although I did see about 100 deer. Has anyone seen any fawns yet? I saw a few doe that looked like they may have already dropped.

On the pahunting website there is a trail camera section and some of those guys are getting fawn pictures already.

I've never seen a place so over-populated with deer as Valley Forge. They really need to do something about that. Close the park to the public for a couple days and have a "If it's brown it's down" type of hunt.

yep! and then we could offer donny beaver a parcel of land on valley and send him there in celveland browns attire! sounds good to most flyfisherman and most steeler fans, two for one!
