Fished the Cedarbrook stretch of Valley for most of the afternoon. Fishing was slow most of the time but with very active periods at times. There were plenty of craneflies around, most probably about a size 18 but some maybe up to a 14. They produced periodic splashy rises. Some BWOs around, too, but not many. I didn't see a single caddis, which was a surpirse.
I caught somewhere around a dozen, most of which came on a walt's worm, size 14. Nothing bigger that 10" or so but I caught a few that were quite fat, and several jumpers. Had a blast. I'll post a few pics later so you can see the little footballs. They must be eating well.

Looking forward to the pics. I agree, some of the fish in Valley right now are looking obese! In a good way! :-o There has been a lack of caddis.

Thanks for the report.

Here is a pic from the past few days.
