Valley Creek 2-26-2009

Water temp. 46 degrees f. low and gin clear.

Fished for an hour picking up five. All on midges. There was a sporadic midge hatch size 24 and 26 dark olive and black.

I'll post some pics later.

P.S. Acristickid I saw Tom Brokaw there today fishing. He said, "tell Paul I said HI."

Nice report and nice fish. I wish I could catch fish at valley. I've been skunked my last four times there. Oh well, there's always next time.

You can catch fish there. Just patience is the biggest factor and approach to the fish. Wading a lot of times will spook them!! The fish I caught in the pictures I waded b/c I had no other choice. However, I took my time meaning I took ten minutes to go ten feet. It helps if you smoke to pass the time...not that I am encouraging that!! :-D
