tried too fish valley yesterday, all week they were calling for no rain in the morning. got there and saw it was high and muddy.
we nearly put my buddies car into the creek trying too get back out, icy icy roads. The 4 runner got stuck half way up a steep incline on our way out. I got out to push the truck back on the road while my buddy gunned in 4 wheel low. harrowing experienxe to say the least. next time the freezing rain comes I'm staying home🙂

Just talked to a friend who fished Valley today and he managed 4 fish all over 12" on a white conehead woolly bugger. He said flows were at like 50 after being 600 the day before during the rain. He described the water as "yoo hoo" colored. I have typically had great luck on days after big rains as Valley tends to evacuate water quickly and the turbid water tends to make the fish let their guard down a little more.

Hey Beorn, This is Andy I haven't seen you at Valley since last spring. I hope all is well.

Good day on Valley. Expected it to be crowded with temps near 50, but was pleasantly surprised that I was alone until I was ready to leave. Caught three smallish pretty fish in the 8" range, but lost a really nice fish half way in. Great day to be out.

Was up at valley as well from about 745am to about 1pm. Put 5 to hand all on small zebras and glass bead midges but under an indicator and tight lining. Beautiful day out there and ran in to a couple of guys in the parking area that were super cool.
