I will start this topic hoping some other upper pine guys offer reports, it helps with picking days to fish.
Headed over yesterday early afternoon, stream was perfect flow, color was super clear, water very cold. Fish were active, lots of visuals on nice Golden’s too at every stop. Good hatch between 4 and 5 o’clock, no fish rising until about 6 pm and then only a few. Hooked plenty of fish up and down the entire creek from Ansonia to Potter line.
Finished up with drys and got two solid fish pretty much blind fishing!
Fun day!

How does one fish but more than a few casts at each stocking location to cover all the great water between Ansonia to the Potter Co line in a half a day?

Thanks for the info, especially after the coldweather today and tonight water temps will remain quite cold for a few more days on the larger creeks. I am headed to Potter this weekend, but am not expecting great surface activity except for possibly finding the brook trout looking up in the tribs.

Pat,
I edited your subject line to reflect the Stream/County/Date format we request for fishing reports.
Thanks,
DW
