Fished and mostly walked around in upper Elk Creek from the I-79 McKean exit to the Baron Rd. bridge. I was surprised by the amount of open water I found, however I saw no fish at all in the low, clear flows. A few could have been hiding up under the small ice shelves in a few spots, but I doubt it. Also stopped at upper Walnut Ck. for about 20 minutes. No sign of fish life there either.
