This time of year and with these flows I would give Buckingham to Long Eddy a shot. Lots of good water and good fish to be had on the lower main this time of year. And yes, way less fisherman.

Floated Buck to Long Eddy on Saturday, cold rainy day but we did manage to get one fish in the boat. Only saw about 4 rising fish all day. The cold really shut it down, but would expect this week to be better. Did see a few march browns on the water (a few meaning like 3 all day). Also, just a heads up if taking out at Long Eddy - Gene from Capra who does my shuttles told me they are having major problems with the people down in Long Eddy. Apparently they are complaining that drift boat parking is hurting their businesses because they take up all the parking. True or not, they are putting barriers up to block parking and he even said they had the town fire trucks blocking parking areas. Just a reminder to be observant of where you park down there so as not to stir the pot any more. If they succeed in effectively blocking access to long eddy that pretty much shuts down the middle and lower main stem to non guides (in drift boats anyway).
