Fished for 7 hours today, 10-5, water temp 56 raised to 60. Air temp high of 79. Fished only dries. Sporadic BWO hatches, not musch else. Water below average and slightly stained. 5 browns, mostly stockers, one small brookie, all on Adams and Wulff variants. Very spooky fish.

What county is this 2-Mile Run in? I know of one but I doubt it is this one.

I would wager the one OhioOutdoorsman fished is the one in Venango County that drains Justus Lake.

Fished it many, many times as it is right by my old home town of Reno. Good stream, heavily stocked but also holds a good head of wild fish. There is a great tributary called Read Run just north of Johnny Martin Road that holds a respectable brookie/brown population. Some quite large. The only reason i mention it is because now it is now posted at the mouth... used to be accessable for a bout a mile before any posted signs popped up... sad. I miss fishing it.

Yes, the posting situation is kind of crazy. Their are many older signs that say no tresspassing, hunting, or fishing and then newer ones that are by the PFBC that say fishing permitted, walk in only. I have assumed that if the PFBC sign is their and its a stocked section, I can fish there.

Ever been to Lower 2 mile, OhioOutdoorsman? Very nice stream that has become victim to alot of posted signs. You can still find a bit of open water though, i suggest giving it a go. If you need any advice on that areas streams feel free to shoot me a PM.

Never been there. What would you make of this:

Can I fish or not fish?

I've mostly been a Sandy/Little Sandy/Sugar/Neshanock/Cool Spring/East Hickory fisherman, and haven't run into these problems that much.....

thats insane. check your PM's btw.
