I wanted to get out today ahead of the blizzard. All the cricks are too high around here, so I went for a lake. I fished from about 10AM to noon. I caught one and hooked two others that got off, all on buggers (black, olive, and chartruese). It was nice to get out and put a bend in the old rod.

Top or bottom? Any ice...might give it a try on wed for an hour or so...

No ice. I fished upper lake in the corner you told me about before. The fish are a little more lethargic now than they were before. I think a slow retrieve is key.

When was the last time you were out to twin lakes Tom?

Wow, not sure...maybe two weeks ago? Fished the same corner but at the bottom lake...Caught like 6 in a row and made some bait guy slap his bait off in the water and leave mumbling something about bringing a fly rod next time.
