After my car accident, I had to sit at home for awhile. I didnt fell well and obviously had a concussion. My arm is sore as is my head.
Man did my head hurt bad.

After everything (my head) calmed down a buddy of mine called me and invited me to fish the Upper Tully in a sections he fishes.

Black Caddis were coming off fairly good as with some Midges. Fish were rising steadily. With my head not being right and my sore arm, my mechanics were a bit off. I was throwing a black beetle with elk hair wings. I felt like it looked like a meaty black caddis.

He caught 1 and I caught 1 on top.

His brown
Unfortunately, It came off right after this. It was an amazing looking brown. I would guess in the 18 inch range. Golden flanked sides with bright red/orange. I woulda really liked to have seen him in a better pic.
