I decided I better go get in on some of the action by the limestone hatchery. I drove 45 minutes to get there and I was not disappointed. I fished from 1 till 4:30 on Sunday afternoon. The fish were plentiful, but in heavily fished areas were difficult to hook. I brought over a dozen to hand and hooked into at least another 15-20 fish. It was the best fly fishing I've had in months. Caught a few on buggers, a few on egg patterns, one on a brown San Juan worm, and most on an orange sucker spawn. They were rising to midges, but I had left almost all my dry flies at home. Most fish were around 11 inches; however, I did land a nice 16+" trout. I also noticed that some of the fish were full of eggs or sperm. I hope I get a chance to go back sometime soon. Good luck to all.
