Fished a wild trout stream near Tionesta, PA on Oct. 9 for about 3 hours. Water very low. Water Temp 58F. Weather partly cloudy and 84F. No hatches noted. No other fishermen seen. The stream is a direct tributary to the Alleghany River. Caught 2 rainbows 4" and 9", and one brown 18". All fish caught on #16 copper colored beetle. You cannot imagine how sorry I am for leaving the camera in the truck. BTW, this stream also supports a popn of brook trout as well. Because readers like photos, I have attached one of a wild brookie from a different stream.
