Fished the Mayburg Area. I arrived at 715am and another fly fisherman was casting to some rising fish. He had caught 5 trout and 4 smallmouth bass on a green drake dun before I arrived. Only a few fish were active now. I went far upstream and fished my way back with a streamer and had no hits in an hour. I switched to different colors and patterns. Water temp was 68 degrees. I noticed a few spinners lighting on the water. They appeared to be slate drake or something similar in size and color. When I got to the end of the run and reeled in I noticed a tremendous amount of green drake nymph cases floating past me. When I was 20 feet from shore I was averaging 1 case every 4 secs. When I got next to shore there were 4 cases per sec. Just a tremendous amount of nymph cases. I left about 815am
