Time Fished: 530pm - 615pm
Weather Conditions: Sunny 70 degrees
Water Conditions: 50 degrees, High, off color, 680cfs
Insects: none
Admittedly I got there late but I wanted to fish a little bit. Lots of people in my favorite stretch and the best spots were taken. Tried some new water but never had a strike. I used a weighted fly but I did not add sinkers which would have helped to keep the fly where it needed to be. I did not see a fish caught. At this temp it’s more likely to catch fish when the temp is increasing rather than decreasing.
Tionesta will fish better when it warms and drops.
