From a fly tying perspective - flexibility and gluing eyes etc. Tackle repairs such as flyline splicing/loop finish, minor rod finish repair, guide wraps(?) also seem like a possibility - I’m going to try some and will report back - I have some rods with lead eye collision chips and plenty of old flyline begging to be cut into shooting heads or sink tips …

 
Chatgpt says it might not be depending on what your thought process is. it said it might be good for popper body coverage, balsa bodies, etc. The matte version would be about the same..

if you try it let us all know, it could be interesting. It does come in an 8 ounce bottle, that should about take care of any fly tying for quite a long time!
 
At just a cursory glance, it looks like it might be similar to Allene's Fabric Fusion which is a good product if you have the time/patience to put up with the curing times. Or maybe not. That's just a quick take..
