Fished from mid morning til mid afternoon near the overpass. The weather was cloudy, with some rain, and the water charging (211 cfs) but clear. Surprisingly crowded for a gloomy week day. Lots of caddis, and a few midges, but saw only a hand full of risers, and they weren't steady. Took several on a bh caddis pupa, and a couple on an ant. They were tougher than usual for me, but I had some nice fights out of the bigger ones. Best fish was a beautifully marked rainbow that appeared to be a holdover. Was shocked that the fish was only 14'', but she needed Jenny Craig! Beat the heck out of working, and that's a fact.

I fished the Tully today from 12-230PM. Not many flies some some coming off. Had only one taker of about 12 different nymph styles, it was a BHHE. Switched to a heavy bugger and did better. 4 cars at the paper mill, 4-5 fishermen in the Rebers bridge area. I thought it was sort of active too for a gloomy mid-day Saturday.

I fished the Tully on Sunday, the 3rd. Gloomy, rainy morning, I only fished for an hour and a half or so. At the papermill. I caught 3 trout, which for the time out isn't all that bad. 2 were on the same cast, second time thats happened this year!

There's one, got em, hey there's another fish following my hooked fish, ow wow, he suddenly feels bigger! Hehe, always a surprise....
