I was working in Baltimore County, MD today. It has been several years since I actually fished the Gunpowder River. I decided to just stop for a few minutes and walk down to check out the water. As I walked up to the edge of the bank the first thing I saw was a wild trout set up on a redd directly in front of me and only about 6 feet off of the bank.
If you are fishing and wading wild trout waters this time of year - be observant, because the spawn is on!
