Arrived around 8:30 AM and fished until 2:00PM, water was clear, overcast skies. Caught 4 Browns and 2 Rainbows. One brown was a few inches longer than my size 13 boot. Caught all 6 on size 16 scuds in gray and white.
Thanks to the biologist who gave me about 6 various flies on Big Spring Friday. I tied my scuds on Saturday using those flies as patterns. Didn't see any hatches. The run had several anglers. The stretch of Yellow Breeches at the run was mostly deserted. I started fly fishing about 10 weeks ago. Thanks to all that have helped with questions and tips along the streams.
