The E. Hille Story

Really enjoyed this-shopped at their store in back of the c-store in Williamsport, still tye with 2 of their dyed Bronze Blue Dun necks and have a 1 piece , 5'6", 4 wt fly rod made by Hal James, Bill O'Conner used to come to camp every June for breakfast and conversation on the porch

Good Read.

I am a former employee of this shop. (2006 - 2007 if my memory is correct)
We did carry a lot of unique and 1 of a kind items for tying. I built and repaired rods, tied custom fly orders, tied for the fly bins, and assembled Down's boxes.

This is where I learned to build rods, had a pile of great conversations, and learned a ton.

My big boost with this shop came when a person gifted me $100 gift card there when I was learning to tie. That allowed me to get a huge jump in supplies as a teenager.
