Tea Creek

Fished the Tea for a couple hours yesterday. Water level was low and for being a class a brown stream, I saw, what I believe to be, a majority of brookies. Most fish were small, but there was the occassional 12"+ fish. Too spooky to catch. At the head waters, all I saw was suckers.
This was the first time I actually saw the spring the creek bubbled up from. I'v been close to the top before, but never actually there. This creek was easy to see it on because it litteraly is about 10' acoss when it starts.
Nice caddis hatch at about 6 o'clock. only saw 1 rising fish.

They were probably rainbow fingerlings up from the Kish. I haven't been on Tea for over a year but never seen a brookie in there. Anything is possible though. With the weather still as warm as it is that spot where tea runs in the kish is pretty warm and I can imagine pretty low right now. Below honey they are probably hanging in the kish more but for some reason they do stock fingerlings above honey. I'm not sure I have been up as far as you though and if you get back up there and catch one I sure would be happy to know theres brookies in there.
