Maybe you and I have different opinions of what makes a trout fishery amazing, which is fine. I'm not knocking it, I fish it a few times every year.

It’s all good. Just saying you’d be surprised how you find trout in the fall on marginal streams. That you would think should not be there. But they are.

I enjoy spin fishing too. Jackson trout signal rod and pflueger reel. I switched all my rapala trebles and aglia spinner trebles for single hooks.

When I started going to camp up there 16 years ago I wouldn't have ever imagined much fish being in there at all. That treatment system they put in Hollywood was a wonderful thing.

In the summer, is the water cold coming out of the treatment plant? Water coming out of deep mines is usually about the same temperature as spring water.

I don't have that information, I fish a lot farther downstream than the treatment plant. I'll try to remember to check it out next time I go up though.
