i just had my best day ever on the creek.
i was on the water by 8am at the lastest. water tenp was 74* air was low 60s at the start. the water was near crystal clear.
everything was just perfect, air temp, humidity, peace and quiet, not another soul in sight.
and the fish treated me with favor as well. everything from 2" panfish to 14" fallfish. i caught more rockbass than i have seen in years. if ever there was a day i wished i had taken a camera with, today was it. one rockbass, although not that big, was almost completely black on his bottom. the largest redeye caught was all but 10",several hand sized blueguills came out to play as well. no idea about numbers caught, but i left after the last 14" fallfish, my arm was starting to get sore....
now i have had good days on the creek before, but this one is going down as the best day evar.
