Blast from the Past:
Susquehanna, at Wrightsville between the 30 and 462 bridges.... at twilight and until about midnight, the channel cats and smallmouth would go crazy with the White Flies. June and July, the flies were "thick as thieves" in the river and the fish were on them big time!
I went there almost every night with five other fly guys (I talked to them every night, but I don't even know their names.... I'm a social guy, but I can't seem to remember names). I always thought that Maurice was one of them, but after seeing your pic on dkile's post........ it wasn't you. Someday I'll meet you Maurice?
The White Flies seem to start around Wrightsville and move upstream to Harrisburg. I would migrate with the White Flies and have so much fun with my fly rod! With a 6wt or my 8wt, it was Nirvana for me!
