Went home to see my folks for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Water is falling pretty quick and the water temp was 45-46.

On thursday the water was a little off color with 2-3 feet of visibility. I caught 2 sub legal sized walleye and 2 10-12 inch bass from shore in about an hour before thanksgiving lunch, all on black half and halfs .

On friday we took the boat out and between my father and I we boated 9 bass to 16 inches. All of the fish were caught on black clousers on a floating line or a white deceiver on intermediate line. The water dropped and cleared significantly from the day before.

If you enjoy bass fishing you should get out now while the warm weather lasts.

Nice job, that's a heck of a fish! Sounds like a great way to start the holiday weekend.

Agree - nice fish and report.

It's good to see folks still having success on river bass during the colder months of the year.
