i went out to fish after work tonight and did well in area around hunlock getting around 20 smallies and one about 4lb and also fished into hunlock creek where there are trouts. this is a good area to fish and susky has been fishing good this year a lot better than other years. i went above route 11 up into creek and not catch any big trouts like last time but got lots in 10in range of mostly brown trouts. water is low and clear and most of smallies are near shore and was doing good using 7in senko worm rig wacky hook. i try fly rod for smallies but do better with spin gear so i fish spin gear for smallie and use my new fly rod for trouts.
