Wade fished the area below the Norman Wood bridge. There were lots of crayfish and baitfish in the shallow pools. I caught 6 very healthy (fat) smallmouth ranging from 8 to 12 inches. Missed one that was 18+.
The only fly that worked was a white clouser drifted down and across. I did see plenty of YOY bass and a few carp mudding in the shallows.
