Arrived at the rock garden below Liverpool at about 10;30 am. Water was green colored, but had 3 to 4 feet of visablity. Leo & I fished until about five o'clock. He got five bass, a few nice ones on a number of patterens. All on a dead drift and some as the fly was decending thru the water. I got the skunk. The water was 83 degrees in the morning. On the east side of the river the visablity was only one to two feet. In the evening we went down to Montgumary Ferry put in. The water was calm and there was a good hatch of light cahills. The were floating everwhere, but not a rise.
This is about the same results we have had the last few years. Few, but nice fish. I was hoping for better, but the reults were about as expected. All fish were healthy looking. Lots and lots of crayfish, caught two on the fly. Lots of baby bass about 3/4 inch long on the shallows around the islands. Maybe the future will be better.
