Had a weekend pass from the Mrs so took full advantage. Fished Sugar, East Sugar, Pithole and West Pithole this weekend. Weather was cool - high 50's.
All of the streams above are in great shape and slightly below median historical flows. Very little dry action, however, although there were a variety of bugs in the air. Caught quite a few on each stream using both a muddler and various bead head caddis. Must of hiked ten miles over the two days. All are beautiful streams and in prime condition. Amazing how far away from the nearest road/access points that the stockers can be found.
