Was a nice day yet again, cold, about average flow. Rained for a little then the sun came out. Nymphs, midges, eggs, streamers were getting them. Fish population slowly decreasing, but still plenty. Small hatch happened, swimming a small hares ear to the surface was productive. Fish are getting smarter though. For example, on egg patterns, they dont just suck it in, they swim to it and bump it on their nose and then dismiss it.

What fly is that in the third and fourth pics? Almost looks like a salt pattern.

Mute, I was there on friday for 2 hours. couldn't get any at the dam but then went a while down under the bridge and caught 9 trout in 1 hour. Are there trout stocked above the dam and anywhere below the second bridge downstream?
