Water is High and Off, which turned out to be excellent fishing.

midges and egg patterns will bring them in.

I was surprised that in the off colored water they could still see and take #20 dark colored midges.

The stubby bodied rainbow

And scenery

I was there yesterday from about 11am-2pm. First, tried jjust upstream, behind the Zoo then headed up to the section behind the hospital.
Finally found the parking and entrance by the dead end at the Hospital Tried some Wooly Buggers, PTs and small midges in assorted colors. Only got one fish, but it was a nice rainbow, about 14 inches. No stubby tail. Took a #20 smolt blue midge with a hare's ear head/collar.

Thought I would've hooked up more, but it was still a nice outing. Not much rain, actually.

Mute, I was thinking of going to Stony Saturday morning for a couple hours, will there still be plenty fish? and should I fish up or down stream of the bridge? Are Zebras still working and smaller or bigger egg patterns?

Thanks

Will be plenty of fish, can fish any of hte holes on hte whole stream youll catch fish. Yes eggs and any small midges/nymphs will do. Let me know what time and ill join you

I'm not positive im going yet but if I do it will be in the morning. What color beads do you use on your zebra midges. I find that the fish like the gold better but some people say they know the zebs with the gold are not real immitations.

tons of variations. black, gold, no beads
