Water was cold obviously. Fish were sluggish at times, nymphs and eggs worked the best.

What the heck happened to that brown :-o

Does anyone have to ask why i Love wild trout fishing over stocked fishing. Look @ that mutant. I hope a Heron took half his face off rather than him being raised by the PFBC like that. Who the heck would even want to harvest and eat that ugly thing :lol:

Fished again today, had to break some ice to get to the fish... coldest its been for this stream. 99% iced over. Probably wont be producing until later this week.

I think the PFBC took the short yellow bus to drop those fish off! :-D

All those fish are raised and stocked by the nursery on site.I don't believe that the pfbc has anything to do with it.In the spring they have a tourney and dump 24" fish in 12" inches of water.

Its on the ATW list. So the PFBC stocks it sometime ;-)

I got this straight from the January fishing reports from the PFBC website.

Not sure who does it but they stock this stream pretty heavily throughout the year as I grew up in this area but have not fished this water in a very long time.

To clarify a question above, they are the state's fish, but raised from fingerlings at the nursery. (I'm a member of the SCA.)
