Been lurking on here and just registered. Great site.
Had a couple hours today and went on a scouting trip to the Stony near the SGL 211 Gate.
First time on the Stony, first time in new waders and boots, first time with new 3wt rod, and first time flyfishing since I was 12...
Stream was clear and cold. Saw one good-sized trout, he saw me and took off. Didn't see another human the entire time.
Mostly threw a Greenie Weenie and a WB. Missed one good strike on the GW.
I'll be on Clarks next time I get out. Hopefully have some photos to share.
