Steelhead stream reports Erie, 11/1/23

Same thing happens down here on the yellow breeches when the general public finds out pfbc is dumping in tens of thousands of hatchery raised rainbow trout. It attracts alot of people you’d probably never see without dumping in the hatchery rainbows. Same deal up there
Just can't leave it alone, can you? Surely you don't fish the breeches for those "hatchery raised rainbows"?

I fish the breeches all the time, hreat olace to fish. You must not read the fallfish thread. You catch a lot of trash fish though like hatchery invasive rainbows so if its legal where I catch em I fertilize with them at home. No I was just pointing out hatchery rainbows that get to be measured in feet cause anglers to do the same thing here in lebanon county with that keystone select BS or up in erie because some one was remarking on the elbow to elbow combat fishing conditions thats all.

You toss a dozen 11" stocked rainbows in the garden and I catch a dozen 10" native brooks to feed the farmers barn cats. Who's fishery is damaged more? I'll play that game if you want to.

I will avoid playing illegal games, as I mentioned i only keep when legal and 5 hatchery trash fish is the limit. You already fling brook trout into the woods because people in internet forums get under your skin, i am not changing anything lets be honest

Well there's a wild and unfounded accusation. I'll assume you have 134 studies backing up your claim. Under my skin? You'll have to try a lot harder for that to be the case.

Only the larger Ohio streams have enough water to make fishing enjoyable. I know of two streams that I love to fish that have had virtually under 80 cfs all season. My local contact is fishing them in the dark Otherwise they are too spooky.

Well the fishery with the bows in it is already damaged due to stocked fish in the first place so...

I will also not be taking part in games of illegal harvest numbers. I will however harvest my legal limit of stocked fish and I CLEAN UP in my local area so I'd be more than happy to take those fish away from the Powerbaiters and other hacks and prove the inherit fallacies of their artificial and unsustainable fishery. I will use these fish to feed cats as that was one good idea you came up with and mail the stripped carcasses to Brown Rainbow farms for further beneficial use.

What's funny to me is how a man who fishes and guides the most prestigious, famous, and technical river on the East coast and a man who chooses the blazing Ferrari red Method, a rod that requires great skill to use, gives two s**** about stocked fish. YOU'RE BETTER THAN THIS.

i’ve never tampered with them in the dark, i fished it yesterday and did alright for the conditions. I checked out a new piece of property too that will be good when the levels come up too
