Spruce Creek Huntingdon County 6/8/12

Fished the no-kill area before going to the river for the evening, caught 1-23" rainbow and nothing else. Cornuta olives were hatching and there was also a cornuta olive spinner fall. Saw a few slate drakes hatch also, caught the fish on an isonychia nymph. Water is a little high yet needs to come down more.

Was back on Spruce Sunday for a little bit in the late morning. The creek is looking much better, blue quills were hatching enough to get the fish rising, caught a couple typical wild browns on blue quill dries.
