Time Fished: 430pm - 715pm
Weather Conditions: Sunny, 58 degrees
Water: High, a little off color, 52 degrees
Insects: None
I fished 2 different places. A popular location yielded no strikes. Most people were leaving about the time I arrived. The second location gets far less pressure, in fact, the state didn’t even stock it prior to opening day (a cabin owner filled me in). I caught 2 very nice rainbows and had a half dozen strikes. There were a pair of osprey buzzing around. I think I would have had better luck if I was there a couple hours earlier.
