Fished below Benner for a few hours in the morning, water conditions on the low-side. Nymphing was pretty slow up until 2:00pm when multiple hatches started emerging and dry fly action was consistent for a good 2 hours. BWO duns seemed to hatch in waves, while the spinners were also in the air, the spinners I rarely see with this hatch. Little Black Stones, houseflys, and midges also hatched in decent numbers making for some excellent dry fly fishing with my new Loomis NRX LP. Water Temp in the mid 40s

We fished from Paradise to the top end of the abandoned hatchery on Friday. The nymphing was non-stop and the dryfly action nonexistent. I could count the number of rises seen on one hand. We were on the water from around 10 am untill dark. I'm glad to hear they started feeding on the BWOs on top. I just wish they would have done it while we were there. I saw pretty good numbers of them on the water but the fish only seemed to show interest in the emergers and nymphs... and the sucker spawn. I'm not complaining too much, it was a fantastic day, but some dryfly action would have been nice.
