I fished downstream from Benner Springs lot into the canyon. Got there around 8 am...air temp was 43*. Water was at 127cfs houserville gauge, and was slightly off color but not muddy. I caught one brown on a CDC hares ear nymph but was otherwise skunked while nymphing. I threw zonker style streamers, mostly black, olive, purple, and had many fish swing, splash or jump after it. Never had a fish that I actually felt pull. I only had 4 hours to fish. When I left the air temp was 53*. I would have spent more of my time nymphing but the wind made tightlining pretty tough.
