I went over to State College after fishing Young Womans Creek, and tried my luck at fisherman's paradise. I got there around 4:30. The water level was up and had that spring creek green color to it. The water temp. was in the low 60s. It was perfect conditions for nymphing. I ended up catching over a dozen browns. Fish were caught on various scud, cress bug and pheasant tail patterns. I was surprised to see some sulfurs still hatching. But, I saw very few fish rise all evening. All fish caught were on the small side. I had a few fish on that felt bigger, but they got off before I could get a good look at them.
