Fished above paradise from about 12 till 3:30. Fish were rising consistently to grannoms. Tied on a tan elk hair caddis and landed 5, missed a few others. Water was 51 degrees when I took the temp right before I left. Flow was a bit high and a tiny bit off color but fishing was great.

What color were the bodies of these caddis?

If the bodies were charcoal, they were grannoms.

If the bodies were tan, maybe with some olive, they were not grannoms, but tan caddis.

Their bodies were definitely lighter, but I thought it was a bit early for tan caddis so I assumed it was grannoms. They did respond well to the tan caddis I put on though..
